WGN 003-08
NEW BAUHAUS - DESSAU 1925 The exclusive series, which draws on the colors and shapes of Lyonel Feininger's paintings, reflects the creative and innovative philosophy of the Bauhaus. Feininger, a German-American painter, graphic artist, and Bauhaus master, had a significant influence on the visual language of the Bauhaus with his works. In a letter to his wife Julia in 1925, Feininger wrote: “It's over, gentlemen, we're moving to Dessau now,” when the Bauhaus was forced to relocate from Weimar to Dessau under political pressure. This quote symbolizes the resilience and progress of the Bauhaus movement. The watches in the series are characterized by their clean lines, geometric shapes, and a color palette directly inspired by Feininger's paintings. These design elements uniquely combine functionality and beauty, offering collectors and design enthusiasts alike a piece of history and art for the wrist.

FRAUEN AM BAUHAUS To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus in Dessau, Bauhaus Walter Gropius commemorates the legacy of the women who shaped modernism. Gunta Stölzl translated materials, color, and craftsmanship into order, system, and clarity. For her, color was a functional tool, not an ornament. This attitude is carried forward in the anniversary collection. It is not a piece of jewelry, but a precise grid of time, material, and deliberately placed color accents. It honors Gunta Stölzl, Anni Albers, Ise Gropius, and all those women who did not merely accompany Modernism, but built it. A tribute to clarity, function, and attitude.
